Stacey & Jeff

Stacey and Jeff contacted me this summer to shoot their wedding at the Lewis Clark Plaza today. They had planned on eloping but their family really wanted them to have a wedding that they could be a part of. So they had a relaxed casual wedding (thus the guys in jeans), including the shortest ceremony in the history of all weddings (that I've been to)- they wanted to make sure their little guy stayed happy through the whole thing. He did. Trav and I however, had serious heart palpitations and tried to not take guests out with our gear as we lunged around to get the shots we needed in record time (I believe the whole thing was about 5 minutes). Luckily we did. But the heart palpitations lingered a bit longer than the ceremony....
The awesome part about this couple planning on eloping is they were just there to enjoy the day, they didn't care about a perfect wedding, so they were very relaxed and super easy to work with. Which made up for the ceremony heart attack. (Just giving you guys a hard time, you were awesome!)

At the end of the portraits, Jeff and Stacey just relaxed and watched their little guy throw a nut. Trav and I have a little boy that's just a little older than theirs, and it seems that all one year old boys are pretty much into sticks, dirt, their mamas, and throwing things. Not sure it changes too much over the years:

I was lucky enough to be outside and able to capture it when this little boy fell into the pond (don't worry, it's not deep- just wet!)

Jeff and Stacey- congrats on your marriage, and thanks so much for choosing us to capture your day! We are honored.
