"P" family

First, a business note:  Only a few sessions left before I shut down for maternity leave (Dec 1st). Make sure and book your session ASAP if you're wanting senior or family portraits before the spring. 50% of your package total is due as a non-refundable deposit upon booking.


Now, onto one of my recent favorite sessions (actually took it tonight and loved it so much I had to post right away). How this family was created is a pretty cool story. Long story short, Kristin and Scott were married and found out they weren't able to have kids. It broke their hearts until they realized there were two kids they loved right in front of them: Erica and Leon. Kristin's grandparents were taking care of them but getting too elderly to continue, and Kristin had already been a big part of their lives, so it just made sense to make them a permanent part of their family. I thought it would be neat to put this chalkboard in the picture. Because thanks to the beauty of adoption, their family is now complete:

  1. I have been spending quite a bit of time with Kristin~ I know how much she loves her family, and just how much these pictures will mean to her. Great job Ange!
