Conrad & Jen {wedding}

Conrad and Jen were married this last Saturday in Greencreek, Idaho. Conrad is a farmer and Jen grew up on a farm, so they had a rustic, farm-themed wedding. Jen found all kinds of cute rustic decor items laying around in family barns to use for their special day. I wanted to take it all home with me! Towards the bottom you'll see the guest table (moss covered) that Conrad made out of old barn wood. I want that. : )

I love how this sign lists everyone in town, which direction they live, and how many miles. :) We were in a different world there . Everyone that drove by us waved. Made us feel at home. Thanks Greencreek!

Instead of sand pouring, the couple used wheat- each grown from their respective farms.

The couple opted to have a first sight before the wedding. First sights are so great because we can pick the best lighting and photograph both of their faces at the same time. Plus, it gives us a lot more time to shoot portraits before the wedding without having to be rushed.

We started out with a few portraits at the church:

We were able to use a barn that is on Conrad's farm land to shoot the couple's portraits. I was in photography heaven with all these great colors and textures!

Conrad found this old pickup truck sitting in the barn. Love it!

Trav climbed up in the hayloft while I was shooting the couple straight on and got this shot:

Even the bridesmaids wore cowboy boots:

The couple opted to sneak away for some sunset pictures during the reception. I love the warm look that these pictures give, and a completely different look than the portraits earlier in the day:
