The maid of honor and best man (Austin's brother), did a unique twist on a toast- they custom made Emily & Austin a "drink" with bits of their personality (i.e. nerds because Austin can be nerdy and Kraft mac n' cheese for Emily's craftiness). They blended it up and had them drink it out of giant cups!

Life...

 Doing Zayden's Promise is a continual reminder to me to never take a day with my kids for granted. With the loss of a couple more sweet babies recently, I found myself coming home to my sweet baby boy, sweeping him up out of his crib, and holding him tight while I wept. God: never, ever let me take my babies for granted. Please send up a prayer for the families who have lost babies recently. Their path is one that no one wants to take. 

Today, I am reminded again to enjoy all the little moments. Because they are what a life is composed of:

Emily & Austin {HITCHED!}

I kid you not, this was perhaps the most fun we've ever had photographing a wedding. We can attribute that to Emily & Austin's AWESOMENESS not to mention their incredibly fun wedding party. Throw in an antique fire truck and Emily's creative craftiness EVERYWHERE and it was quite the wedding. Emily & Austin, can I just slip you in my pocket and take you home with me? Because I think we could totally hang out any day! :) 

I am lucky to get have really great clients- thanks to you all- for throwing your bit of creativity in and then letting me do my thing. I love my job, and all of you make it possible. So thanks for making my dreams come true. Awww, am I getting sappy on all of you? ;)

Back to Austin & Emily's day....I want to post a million pictures...did I mention I got to use an antique fire truck for a few portraits after the ceremony? I could just die. And go to photographer heaven. :) So despite my wish to photographically vomit all over you (hmm, that's not a very nice picture is it?) I've narrowed it down to my favorites and I'm going to split it up into a couple posts to make it more digestible for those of you who have slooooow internet (I'm sure that's a bummer when you have lots of pictures you want to look at!)

After the ceremony, the wedding party and the couple wanted to go do a few sunset pictures. 

I LOVE sunset pictures...but like I said before, vintage fire truck...extra yum.
