This blog [The Sweetest Occasion] is my favorite for wedding and party inspiration. All kinds of really great ideas. I SO wish this blog had been around back when I was planning my wedding! Brides these days are so lucky to have so much inspiration at their fingertips...for free!

As a wedding photographer, I believe it's all about the details. All those little things that come together to make it YOUR special day. Unique. Just like you. Especially if you can craft them yourself. Details are also some of my favorite things to photograph at a wedding!

Bridal Detail...Dress shot

I LOVE these neat hangers I've been seeing on Etsy. Wanted to share with all the brides out there.

These would be so fun to photograph with the detail of your dress hanging up, waiting for you to slip on:

I found this hanger from Etsy user libordke22 but you can search and find many different options.
Some of you crafty girls out there could probably make one yourself!

Two months!

Our little guy is two months old. He's grown SO fast and is quite the big baby now. This also marks the end of my maternity leave and I am back so if you need to book a session, drop me an email.  This year, I will be limiting the types of sessions I take to just focus on those I shine the most in as I'm wanting to spend more time with this precious face (as well as his two older sisters):

We've had such a great time with our little guy. He is the easiest baby of all our kids. Usually babies are very difficult to photograph as they don't like being stuck in boxes and suitcases without any clothes on. There is usually a lot of crying and squirming and fussing. He just sits there patiently for me. Fingers crossed xx that he continues to be this way! :)
